The deadline for Delegate Support Fund applications has come and gone. WSO has received 25 applications totaling $32,860 in funding requests. We currently have $11,051 in the fund.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to get more in the fund by the November Board of Trustees meeting when the Delegate Support Fund committee meets to try and decide who gets how much, and who won’t be funded at all. Would you be willing and able to conduct a special Delegate Support Fund collection at your meetings and events in the next couple of weeks, and make sure it is sent in to WSO by November 18? (Please note your contribution is for the “Delegate Support Fund”.)
It’s exciting to see so many service bodies requesting financial assistance so they can send delegates to participate in the group conscience at WSBC. Any little bit will help toward making that happen.
